The department conducts curriculum integration every semester to showcase creative works of the students and enable student interaction as well as strengthen links. The theme for Fall 2018 was “Youth Empowerment”. Keeping relation with the theme, the CI exhibition was divided into two parts -- visual art exhibition, and film exhibition preceded by a public dialogue and drama. Visual art exhibition kicked off at Gallery 5 of Shilpakala Academy on December 18. Professor Dr Jude William Genilo, head of MSJ, inaugurated the visual art exhibition at 11:00am. The exhibition, which was open for public from December 18 to 20, featured posters, photographs, masks, illustrative displays and video graphics. Parallel to the students’ artworks, a corner of the gallery was dedicated to showcasing war-time photographs of acclaimed photographer Anwar Hossain. On the sidelines of the visual art exhibition, the final day -- December 20 -- featured a drama performance, students’ speech, public dialogue and film exhibition at an auditorium of Shilpakala Academy. The day’s programme started with a drama performance staged by a group of MSJ students at 2:15pm, followed by a joint speech by two MSJ students, as part of Speech Writing and Public Speaking course, at 3:00pm. Following that, public dialogue started.
