Sherin has more than five years teaching and research experience both in the USA and Bangladesh. In the USA, she conducted Public Speaking as a single instructor for both in the University of Southern Mississippi (USM), and University of South Florida (USF). In Bangladesh, she has teaching experience in the Department of Communication and Media Studies at the University of Development Alternative. Besides, she worked with Press Institute of Bangladesh as a researcher. Along with these, Sherin worked for different national and international organizations including Democracy International (DI) - an US based INGO, and BBC Media Action. Sherin has participated in a few prestigious academic conferences in the USA for example National Communication Association conference in 2019 and 2020, International Communication Association conference in 2021, etc. Sherin attended some national and international academic events in South Korea, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.
