Juditha Ohlmacher is a Communications Specialist who is currently the Advisor, Communications and Student Affairs at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB).
She currently oversees the marketing and public relations strategies for ULAB, by coordinating internal and external communications with students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.
In 2014, she set up the first ever fully-fledged, Student Affairs Office to cater to needs of students, including a wide range of academic, legal, and mental health concerns. She has developed university-wide policies on sexual harassment, confidentiality, bullying, and drug abuse, among others.
Ms. Ohlmacher's research and teaching interests lie in Bangladeshi cinema and media. In addition, she is a classically trained Bharata Natyam dancer who has performed at Dhaka University, the National Museum and Shilpakala Academy.
She has an M.A. in Cinema Studies from New York University, and a B.A. in Liberal Arts from St. John's College, USA.
