A Guest sharing his experience in investigative journalism.

 

A learning session on Investigative Journalism was organized by the Department of Media Studies and Journalism of the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh at Campus B seminar room on August 24, 2019.

The session was conducted by Executive Director of Management and Resources Development Initiative (MRDI) Hasibur Rahman and Head of Programme and Communications Miraj Ahmed Chowdhury, who is also the Editor of the Bengali site of the Global Investigative Journalism Network.

The guests shared their vast experience of investigative journalism with the students. They said, in future Bangladesh will be the role model to other countries in different sectors. For this, the young have to come forward first.

One of the guests said, ‘Investigative journalism always stands beside the people by disclosing the secrets. So, the young and intelligent people to join this profession enrich investigative journalism in Bangladesh’.
