Tahseen Nower is a Mass Communication and Journalism graduate with both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Dhaka, where she excelled academically and received the Professor Sitara Parvin Award of Excellence. Before joining academia, she worked as a Creative Communication Fellow at Save the Children in Bangladesh, where she developed creative scripts, audio-visual content, and communication materials for education and humanitarian projects, particularly focusing on persons with disabilities and marginalized communities.
Previously, she served as the Bangla Segment Lead at The Financial Express Bangladesh. Alongside her professional roles, she has written extensively for The Daily Star, producing fiction, non-fiction, and feature articles. Her experiences reflect a strong interest in creative communication, development-focused media, inclusivity, and storytelling as tools for social impact. She has been an active Bloom Fellow and a Mentor for the Bangladesh Women Investors Network by Bangladesh Angels. Tahseen has also served as Head of Publication for the 14th International Children’s Film Festival by Children’s Film Society Bangladesh.
