In Conversation with MSJ Alumni: Discussion on Communication for Development and Professional Skills

On Thursday November 3, University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh’s Media Studies and Journalism (MSJ) Department organized a discussion on Communication for Development and professional skills for students, at the research building of ULAB. ULAB MSJ Alumna and development professional, Ayesha Khanam was present as a speaker at the event.

Professor Dr. Jude William Genilo, Head of Media Studies and Journalism, initiated the discussion session. He said "Current students can learn the most about professional skills from the alumni."

Later, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammad Shazzad Hossain continued the discussion with Ayesha Khanom. Humanitarian worker Ayesha Khanum shared her struggles to become a development professional through inspiring stories. She discussed the importance of Communication for Development (C4D) in development organizations. The program concluded with a question-answer session on career prospects in international development agencies.
